The Role: Accounts Receivable Onshore Wind Ireland
Location: Dublin
Salary: Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent role subject to probation
Reports to: Group Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:
• Weekly input of sales invoices
• Assisting with the statutory audit process
• Process all Accounts Receivable transactions and functions various business within the group
• Challenge processes and controls to improve efficiency and eliminate waste
• Assist in the development of the accounts receivable processes
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly / quarterly financial management accounts
• Prepare accrued or deferred revenue List and Review Accruals List on Monthly Basis for completeness and accuracy
• Ensure all VAT receivables are received on a timely basis and payments to Tax authorities are made without delay or penalty
• Accurate and timely reconciliation of AR balance sheet reconciliation's

Expectations of the candidate

Ensure the timely and accurate execution of sales invoicing and associated transactions
Provide reporting on Accounts Receivable as required
Provide score carding for Accounts Receivable to optimise performance and eliminate waste
Execute a strong credit control function ensuring past dues are kept to a minimum
Oversee all operational processes in relation to AR to ensure compliance with the associated audit requirements and laws
Assist with customer direct debit implementation, contributing ideas and optimizing performance for collections within the agreed schedule
Assist with process improvement and automation projects, contributing ideas and optimizing performance for collections within the agreed schedules

The Person:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a key player in a strategically important sector. The role will suit an ambitious, self starter with a proven track record of success. The successful candidate will be a part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and educated to degree level.

Skills & Experience
Attention to detail
Experience in working with high volume transactions
Desire to challenge systems and processes
Multi-currency experience
Experience of working for with an international company.
Financial Accounting background
Desirable- Accounting Technician Qualification
Excellent numerical and interpersonal skills are essential
Strong competence in MS Word, MS Excel
Strong time management
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Role

The key responsibilities include:

• Typing detailed minutes at a number of meetings.

• Typing letters, drafting presentations and assisting with the preparation of reports using Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

• Liaise and build relationships with clients and internal divisions on behalf of the team

• Organise all required internal and external meetings where appropriate.

• Any other administrative duties that arise from the activities of the Finance team

The Role: Corporate Finance Position
Location: Dublin 4

Our in-house corporate finance team is responsible for all fundraising activities including the development and implementation of a strategic financing plan, supporting all major commercial initiatives being undertaken by Gaelectric and financial reporting obligations to our funding partners..

The Job
We are seeking to enhance our team by the addition of someone who will support existing team members. The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspect of working in a busy corporate finance team and in so doing will gain first-hand knowledge of all aspects of the corporate finance function, including but not limited to financial modelling and evaluation, the preparation of business plans and associated presentation materials, the negotiation of commercial transactions, the raising of non recourse project finance, the evaluation of investment opportunities and the raising of finance generally.


The Candidate
The successful candidate will be commercially aware with a transaction execution ethos and an ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams, and with strong analytical, project management and communication skills. Applicants should be Big 4 qualified and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. You will be questioning, proactive and flexible, motivated by challenges and with high standards for the quality of outputs generated by you. You will be comfortable working in a fast moving environment that may be pressurized at times, but never dull. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.
